If I say that there is some BL in this comic, because there is later on, will hundreds more people read it? If so, are those hundreds of new fans going to be disappointed when it's not the central plot? Eh, this is a hard comic to sell. I want LARPers to read it, because it's about them, but I don't want non-LARPers to be turned off by it; even though the main themes of the story have little to do with LARPing, but have more to do with overcoming weaknesses...

Ah well, time will tell.

Well there's no simple answer to your question really. Because attaching BL to your comic will auto-attract some readers but will repel others, especially on Smackjeeves. There are people that specifically ignore comics that put BL in their banner or synopsis.

For instance, in my comic, the tension-filled romantic relationships between the main characters, most of which are guys, is what the story will tend to revolve around. That's why I slapped a big ol' BL to my banner. If it's not in the central plot, I'd leave it out. OR, you could do what some people do in which they go about listing all the types of relationships you'll see in the comic, which I think is a little silly lol.

So far, your story holds merit on it's own. I'm am definitely not a LARPer, but I like it :D Though to be peferctly honest, I kinda suspected there would be some gay relationship which is why I've been intrigued and pondering, hehe.

Anyway, keep up the great work, I'm certainly an avid reader at this point. Though now that you say there is some BL, I'm a much more dedicated fan :D

@Frostwings: Excellent! This is exactly the answer I was looking for! I didn't want to label it "BL," because that creates certain expectations of what elements of the story might exist. Also, most BL comics are pretty quick to introduce the fact that it's a gay story, and I wanted mine to be more subtle about it, since it's not the main character, but it does affect the main character, and his relationship prospect. So, I don't want to list the relationships, because I don't really want to ruin it for everyone!

Anyway, thank you so much for the detailed answer! I love getting this kind of feedback to get an idea of what my readers are like! And I'm glad you are enjoying it so far! It's enough to keep me going, knowing that I have a few dedicated fans like you!

JMFL You know why i read this...the nudity of course. I think BL is barely legal right? Not sure but otherwise keep doing what you're doing and if it needs to change you know i will still read it. You are a very talented man keep up the good work.
