Okay. So, you guys don't seem to be enjoying these silent pages so much haha! Well, when there's five in a row, it kinda gets boring checking for updates!

The thing is, for the greater good of the comic, these silent pages are necessary. For instance, it shows that sometimes, while we may have vivid memories of specific situations, that doesn't explicitly mean you remember exactly what everyone was saying. These pages are also a way of getting deeper into the mind of Demos, who is often so quiet, whether because he doesn't know what to say, or because he just can't say it! They also act as a pacing device to slow down the reader and force them to look at what's going on, instead of expecting the words to explain everything. If you're paying attention, they even let on a bit about what everyone else is thinking! Also, I just remembered that when I was writing the story, this chapter was originally going to be much shorter, and there wasn't going to be any talking in it at all. It's still the shortest, and it still has more wordless pages than the other chapters (I think).

Anyway, besides trying to explain why (I assume) so many people are getting bored with Bello Fortis lately, I should be talking about this page! Look! More mohawks!

Silent pages are what they are. I find they have more impact when they're in an actual book because we, as the readers, can move forward at our own pace. But when it's multiple pages about travelling in a car on a web-comic that doesn't update everyday~, well, yah lol <3

Your characters interactions, activities and facial expressions are easy to follow in any case so at least we know what's going on in them thar cars.

You're the author, so knock yourself out, because an update to the reader, is still an update. Though I can't wait for more dialogue :P

This is exactly amtgard because after 6 hours with people in a car you want them all to just be quiet.
